The Temple of the Springs was the heart of Atlantis. This temple complex was a central gathering location for bathing, healing and relaxing. It was open to all citizens, all the time. It was also the center of an extensive water distribution system which directed water to all parts of the Metropolis from two prolific springs, one of hot water and one of cold water.
